AccuPermit combines building permit, ROW permit, and traffic control expertise under one roof, making your projects safer, faster, and easier to manage. Here are answers to the most common questions from our clients:

General Questions

What types of permits do you handle?

We manage commercial building permits, Right-of-Way (ROW) and public space permits, construction entrance permits, scaffolding/sidewalk occupancy permits, lane and road closure permits, mobile crane staging permits, and Stop Work Order abatement. We also generate Temporary Traffic Control (TCP) and Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plans.

Which jurisdictions do you support?

We have deep expertise in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and provide regional and national support for multi-site projects.

Traffic Control & MOT Services

Do you provide temporary traffic control services?

Yes. We provide flagging, lane closures, detours, and full work-zone traffic control. Our TCP and MOT plans are customized to each site and compliant with MUTCD and local agency requirements.

Can you combine traffic control with ROW or building permits?

Absolutely. Many projects require both — for example, staging a crane in a street or closing a lane for construction. We manage the permits and traffic control plans together so you get approvals faster and reduce back-and-forth with agencies.

Stop Work Orders & Abatement

Can you help if DDOT issues a Stop Work Order?

Yes. We consult on the cause, prepare corrective plans, and submit revised permits to get your project back on track. We coordinate inspections and approvals to minimize delays.

Efficiency & Compliance

How does merging ROW/Public Space permits and traffic control services help me?

Having both services under one roof reduces delays, ensures permit alignment, and avoids conflicts between construction access, lane closures, and pedestrian safety. You get one point of contact for permits, plans, and traffic control.

How quickly can you mobilize for permit or traffic control needs?

We prioritize efficient plan preparation, submission, and approval coordination so your project stays on schedule — whether it’s a small sidewalk closure or a multi-lane construction project.

Safety & Compliance

Are your traffic control crews certified?

Yes. All flaggers and traffic control supervisors are ATSSA-trained, and our plans follow MUTCD and local agency standards to ensure safe work zones.

How do you ensure ROW permit compliance across multiple jurisdictions?

Our team stays up to date on DDOT, VDOT, MD SHA, and county and city regulations. We prepare permit-ready Traffic Control and MOT plans, and coordinate directly with reviewers and inspectors to ensure projects meet all local, regional, and national requirements.
